Strategisch Project Manager

For FrieslandCampina we are searching for two Technical Project Leaders. FrieslandCampina is engaged in development, manufacture, sale and distribution of dairy and dairy-based consumer products and advanced ingredients for the food, feed and pharmaceutical market. The position is based in the north of the Netherlands.

FrieslandCampina Domo has 7 production sites. Facilitating to these production sites is the department DOMO Global Solutions (DGS).
The vacancy is in the engineering team of DGS. At the moment this team consists of 25 associates. Due to strong investments in the Ingredients Business Group as result of the new strategy route 2020 they are looking for an additional Strategic Project Manager..
The responsibilities of the a Strategic Project Manager are:

• Project Management of several (multidisciplinary) engineering projects lead by project leaders;
• Project budget indication: > 5 million and < 25 million;
• Leading decision making process and building new business cases;
• Overall accountable, more strategic than hands-on responsible;
• Coaching and supervising project leaders.

• Higher vocational or academic qualifications in (chemical) engineering, Food Technology or equivalent education;
• Solid technical knowledge;
• Relevant experience in a process technology environment, preferably in the food industry;
• Demonstrable experience in process engineering (civil, mechanical and automation);
• Fluent in written and spoken English and Dutch.
