Functieomschrijving/taken

  • Sales of QIAGEN’s Life Sciences portfolio in academia and governmental institutes
  • Enhancing customer satisfaction, building customer relationships, and selling the company’s products and services in the assigned territory to meet or exceed sales targets by using the company tools and processes
  • Manage a set of Life Sciences accounts and portfolio (instruments and consumables) with the right positioning
  • Drive and initiate development of new business opportunities by visiting customers regularly
  • Budget responsibility
  • Maintain and develop relationships with key customers and references
  • Use of CRM to increase Sales Intelligence, ideally knowledge of SFDC
  • Work in close collaboration with Application Specialist and Country Sales Director

Profiel kandidaat

  • Bachelor or Master degree in molecular biology, genomics
  • 3-5 years of relevant professional experience the above fields or sales experience
  • Multilingual; Fluent in Dutch and French (will have French speaking accounts), professional English
  • Preferably living in or near Brussels, else in triangle Gent-Leuven-Brussels
  • Excellent communication skills: written, verbal and presentation
  • Experience with DNA/RNA sample prep, PCR, qPCR and NGS are a plus
  • Having a driver license and willing to travel inside Belgium
  • Standard PC skills (MS Office suite)
  • Ideally sales experience
