Gentian develops and manufactures high quality, in vitro diagnostic (IVD) reagents for a wide range of clinical chemistry analysers. Their product lines of laboratory tests, for diverse diagnostic targets, provide high accuracy and fast results for both human and veterinary healthcare.
Gentian believes that their innovative and accurate diagnostic products lead to improved laboratory efficiency, better decision making in the clinical setting and therefore can improve patients’ outcomes.

You will be responsible for the implementation of Gentian assays in customers and partners laboratories in your territory.

• Customer training in-house and at customer sites
• 1st and 2nd level application troubleshooting in close cooperation with Product Managers, QC/QA and R&D
• Investigation of customer complaints related to the product in question
• Lead validation of new instrument applications for new and existing assays in-house at Gentian and at customer sites
• Lead Application Hotline implementation
• Contribute to application development projects in R&D
• Contribute to sales initiatives for GENTIAN assays
• Provide input to GENTIAN assay development projects
• Participate in improvement projects to improve/maintain Gentian´s quality system and products, and to achieve quality goals
• Participate in audits of Gentians quality system when needed
• Collect market input and represent customer feedback (VOC)
• Global responsibility with up to 50% travel

• BS, MS in sciences, laboratory sciences, biomedical, biology, biochemistry, pharmaceutical sciences or formal laboratory technician education
• Knowledge of Clinical Chemistry and Immunoassays and realted instrumentation; experience with Turbidimetric Immunoassays is a plus
• IT- skills, MS Office Suite
• > 5 years hands-on lab experience with supervision responsibility
• Fluent in German and English
• Previous experience in reagent sales and/or application support is an advantage
