Inscopix stands at the forefront of Next Generation Neuroscience. Our initial product for imaging large-scale neural circuit activity during behavior, nVista, provides neuroscientists with the ability to generate unprecedented data sets. In addition, we have combined neural circuit imaging with optogenetic manipulation in our second model, nVoke, to establish causal relationship between cellular activity and behavior. Inscopix was selected by The Scientist as the #1 Innovation of 2013 and has been covered in over 150 publications in top scientific journals. Since launching in October 2012, we have built a significant customer base comprised of over 450 prestigious neuroscience laboratories including 5 Nobel Laureate labs and major pharmaceutical companies.


Inscopix is looking for an experienced Sales Representative to partner with their EMEA Sales Manager to lead their field sales efforts in EMEA (Europe, Middle East, Africa). The position will provide the opportunity for an experienced sales professional to take on a primary role at a company that stands to make a major impact on the field of neuroscience. The Sales Representative will focus on placing the nVista and nVoke technology, and associated consumables, within universities and institutes and commercial laboratories.
• Prospect, qualify, generate & close sales by researching and identifying target customer labs
• Pursue sales prospects by providing on-site sales presentations, technical consultations, and evaluations of scientific fit
• Work closely with the product and technical teams (field application scientist and in-house Application Science team) to field customer inquiries and provide accurate technical information
• Represent Inscopix at scientific meetings and conferences
• Remain knowledgeable and current on changes and developments in the neuroscience community

Profiel kandidaat

• Master’s Degree in neuroscience, advanced neuroscience degrees preferred
• Minimum of 3 years of field sales experience preferably selling to neuroscience labs
• Having a track record of closing sales opportunities for instrumentation/capital equipment in the life science research solutions industry is a big plus
• Demonstrated ability to plan, lead and implement projects both independently and with support from others
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and in French
• Moderate travel ( +/- 50%) for customer visits and conferences
